Read Shri Ramcharitmanas in English

Before reciting Shri Ramcharitmanas methodically, Shri Tulsidasji, Shri Valmikiji, Shri Shivji, and Shri Hanumanji should be invoked, and after worshiping Shri Sitaramji along with the three brothers, Shodashopchar (ie offering sixteen items) should be worshiped but daily. Ramcharitmanas, composed by Goswami Tulsidasji, became famous in the 16th century, which is in the Awadhi language. Awadhi is a dialect of the Hindi region. It is spoken in the “Awadh region” of Uttar Pradesh. Ramcharitmanas is also known as Tulsikrit Ramayana. The daily text of Ramcharitmanas in the form of ‘Ramayana‘ is read by the people of North India. Lord Sri Hari Vishnu, the lord of the whole universe, is Lord Rama, who is depicted in the Ramcharitmanas as Maryada Purushottam, and in Maharishi Valmiki’s Ramayana Lord Sri Rama is depicted as the ideal human character. Rama of Ramayana teaches the entire human race how to live life, no matter how many obstacles there may be, and Shri Ram of Ramcharitmanas, despite being omnipotent, is Maryada Purushottam. Goswami Tulsidasji has described in this book with Doha, Chaupai, Sorath, and verses. Tulsidasji has given the number of Kadvaks with couplets, which is the total number of Kadvaks 1074.

In the Ramcharitmanas composed by Tulsidas, the number of Chopai is 9388, the number of couplets is 1172, the number of Sorath is 87, the number of mantras is 47 and the number of verses is 208. In this book, Tulsidas ji has divided it into 7 kandas.

Devotion of Tulsidas :-

The devotion of Tulsidas in Ramcharitmanas is very pure. Tulsidas has said many times in Ramcharitmanas and Vinaya Patrika that the character of Shri Ram is such that once he listens to Ram, he easily becomes a devotee of Ram. Tulsidas imagines the character of Shri Ram in the same way. It has kept its influence in the whole of North India over the years. And have created a life related to God. Ramcharitmanas has been a popular book in North India.
